Tornado causes 23 houses in a commune to have their roofs blown off

(PLVN) - 23 houses of Trung Tien village, Cam Trung commune, Cam Xuyen district (Ha Tinh) had their roofs blown off, including one house that collapsed after a tornado swept through.

On June 13, information from the People's Committee of Cam Trung Commune, Cam Xuyen District said that at around 5:30 p.m. on June 12, a tornado swept through Trung Tien village, causing 23 houses to have their roofs blown off and property damaged.

Among the 23 houses that had their roofs blown off and were damaged, the house of Ms. Cao Thi Thanh, the wife of a martyr, was completely collapsed. Luckily, Ms. Thanh was not in the house when the house collapsed.

According to the leader of Cam Trung commune, before the tornado occurred, there was heavy rain in Trung Tien village.

Immediately after the incident, local authorities mobilized forces to help people clean up their belongings and repair roofs damaged by the tornado.
