On September 12, Deputy Director of the Department of Finance - Ho Quoc Cong said that by the end of August 2024, the total state budget revenue in the province reached 18,450 billion VND, an increase of 46.3% over the same period, reaching 87.3% of the central budget estimate and reaching 86.7% of the estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Council.
Of which, domestic revenue reached 15,672 billion VND, reaching 89.4% of the central budget estimate, reaching 88.6% of the provincial People's Council budget estimate, up 44.8% over the same period. Revenue from import and export reached 2,778 billion VND.

In particular, contributing to the 46.3% growth rate of domestic revenue over the same period was revenue from land use fees, which increased by 365.8%. By the end of August 2024, revenue from land use fees alone reached VND 4,826 billion, exceeding the estimate assigned by the Central Government and the Provincial People's Council.
By sector, 14/16 sectors had higher tax revenue than the average revenue growth rate of 8 months, such as revenue from land use fees reaching 146.2% of the estimate; revenue from state-owned enterprises reaching 94.9% of the estimate; revenue from foreign-invested enterprises reaching 78.5% of the estimate; revenue from lottery activities reaching 82.5% of the estimate, etc.
Regarding the revenue results of localities, the total budget revenue at the district level reached over 4,118 billion VND, reaching 76.1% of the estimate, 9.4% higher than the average progress of 8 months. In particular, Tan Tru district, by the end of August, had a total budget revenue of nearly 189 billion VND, reaching 105.8% of the estimate.
In 5 key localities alone, including Ben Luc, Can Duoc, Can Giuoc, Duc Hoa and Tan An City, in 8 months, total revenue reached over 3,108 billion VND, accounting for 75.5% of total revenue of all localities.
According to Deputy Director of the Department of Finance - Ho Quoc Cong, in the first 8 months of 2024, the total state budget revenue in the province was quite positive, reaching and exceeding the same period.
However, he suggested that sectors and localities need to focus on solutions to increase budget revenue based on the principle of supporting the development of production and business of enterprises and business households associated with supporting the quick resolution of administrative procedures related to people, production and business enterprises, and employment to help enterprises and business households develop production and create sustainable sources of income./.
