In the period of 2022-2024, the Women's Association of An Thuan 1 neighborhood strives to compete and achieve the title of cultural neighborhood. The neighborhood has no domestic violence , no cases of giving birth to a third child or more, no law violators; there are works named after the Association mobilized by the Women's Association; the Association's president and group leaders are recognized as excellent grassroots Association officials for 3 consecutive years; there are many meaningful deeds and models in studying and following Uncle Ho's example;... Achieving these achievements is the effort of the whole collective, including the contribution of Association President Ngo Thi Ngoc Lan.

As the Branch President, Ms. Lan regularly grasps the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws to deploy to the entire HVPN in monthly meetings. Through the meetings, she quickly grasps the thoughts and feelings of each person so that she can help them according to their needs and wishes, such as creating conditions to support capital, knowledge, techniques, etc. Identifying the spirit of solidarity as the strength to build a strong collective, she strives to promote collective strength. Over the years, the Branch has contributed to improving the material and spiritual life of HVPN such as the following models: Joining hands to buy health insurance ; Friendly environment, volunteering and sharing; Volunteer Women's Group; Celebrating HV's birthday;... At the same time, Ms. Lan also maintains and improves the quality of models to help poor students go to school; organizes activities to support disadvantaged children and women; sponsors a child in especially difficult circumstances in the area;...

Alley 51 Nguyen Van Trung street project was promoted by An Thuan 1 Neighborhood Association, Ward 7, Tan An City to be paved with concrete.

Ms. Lan also carried out well the campaigns and movements, especially in building new rural areas and civilized urban areas . Secretary of the Party Cell, Head of An Thuan 1 Ward - Vo Thi Ngoc Giau informed that the Party Cell has 33 party members. Among them, Ms. Lan is an exemplary party member, despite her old age, she is still enthusiastic about her work. She often works with the Party Cell and Association to mobilize people to respond to movements launched by the locality.

Implementing the Resolution of the Party Cell on leading the Women's Association in carrying out basic construction works in the neighborhood, from 2022 to now, the Association has carried out 3 projects. These are concrete alley 51 Nguyen Van Trung street; concrete branch 42 alley 570 and concrete branch 79, alley 646 Chau Thi Kim street with a total mobilization cost of nearly 74 million VND. Currently, rural traffic routes in the neighborhood are concreted , creating favorable conditions for people when participating in traffic. At the same time, to create a clean and beautiful appearance for the routes, she periodically mobilizes HVPN to clean up these routes. Not only that, the Association also mobilizes to build charity houses for households facing housing difficulties.

At 77 years old and 55 years in the Party, Ms. Lan always upholds her sense of responsibility. “For me, learning and following Uncle Ho's example requires daily self-cultivation. We need to promote our exemplary role, our age is old, our example is bright, and as long as we work, we will continue to contribute. Whenever I do something beneficial for the people, I feel very happy,” Ms. Lan said.

Ms. Lan actively participates in local movements and the Women's Union of Tan An City. She is the "bridge" between the Women's Union and the neighborhood. From the achieved results, the Women's Union of the neighborhood has achieved many outstanding results. In particular, recently, the Union received a Certificate of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for winning the Outstanding Women's Union Award for the period 2022-2024.
