Free stroke risk screening for patients.

Free stroke risk screening for 1,000 people: Immediately after the launching ceremony, the stroke risk screening program was deployed, helping people detect risk factors early and receive timely advice from more than 50 doctors and medical volunteers from major hospitals such as Bach Mai, Military Hospital 108, Hanoi Medical University and Hanoi Stroke Association.

In particular, this program has applied artificial intelligence (AI) in analyzing screening data, helping to identify high-risk groups, making personalized recommendations and building a stroke risk map in the community. This is an important step forward in the digital transformation of preventive medicine, demonstrating the pioneering role of technology in health management and prevention of non-communicable diseases.

Cycling “For a healthy Vietnam”: Hundreds of volunteers and people participated in cycling activities, spreading the message about the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle and improving physical fitness to prevent stroke.

Representative of the program's organizing committee, MSc. Dr. Nguyen Huu Tu - Permanent Vice President and General Secretary of the Vietnam Young Physicians Association shared: "We are witnessing a worrying reality - stroke is no longer a disease of the elderly. More and more young people under 35 years old have faced strokes when they are in the most vigorous stage of their lives. This is a warning bell about the lifestyle and health care habits of the current generation. In that context, technology - especially artificial intelligence - not only helps young doctors identify risks early, but also helps us prevent and act more promptly and accurately."

In a joint effort for a healthier Vietnam, ahead of the program launch, Bayer and Long Chau signed a strategic cooperation memorandum of understanding on October 24. This cooperation not only focuses on reducing the burden of stroke but also extends to many essential areas such as women's health care (contraception, endometriosis treatment, etc.), management of chronic and specialized diseases (cardiovascular diseases, fundus disease, gastrointestinal cancer, etc.).

Through the combination of Long Chau's digital platform and extensive pharmacy network, the two sides are committed to implementing comprehensive health education programs while improving the expertise of the pharmacist team. From there, people can easily access information, solutions and high-quality health care services, and receive timely and proper disease prevention and treatment advice right in the community.
