The Reading Culture Ambassador Contest for students nationwide aims to arouse passion, promote reading movement among the young generation, encourage sharing, spread the love of reading, contribute to developing reading culture in schools, communities and building a learning society in Vietnam. The contest affirms the position and role of Vietnamese culture, especially reading culture in contributing to spreading knowledge, improving people's intelligence, creativity, nurturing personality, soul, forming a healthy lifestyle, arousing patriotic tradition, national pride, aspiration to develop a prosperous and happy country for the young generation.

Ms. Ninh Thi Thu Huong, Director of the Department of Grassroots Culture, Family and Library, Head of the National Final Organizing Committee of the contest, said that 2025 is the 6th year the contest has been held nationwide. The preliminary round was organized by the Ministry of Public Security , the Ministry of National Defense, and localities, attracting nearly 1.2 million students from nearly 8,700 educational institutions with 18,652 students from universities and colleges, 11,677 students in the armed forces, and 124 entries from the Vietnam Association of the Blind. 519 excellent entries with high prizes in the preliminary round were sent to participate in the national final round, including 404 articles and 115 videos. The final round was organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

The judges of the contest evaluated that many entries were carefully prepared, ensuring the quality of both content and presentation techniques, having a great educational effect and good effects on viewers. Many good, unique and novel ideas were proposed to encourage students and everyone to read books. Along with that, many touching stories and good books were shared. The students showed their passion and devoted a lot of effort to making their entries. Some contest videos used sign language and English subtitles to increase the ability to spread the sharing and messages encouraging everyone to read books.

At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded 15 collective prizes and 140 individual prizes. Of which, the People's Public Security force was awarded 2 collective prizes and 4 individual prizes. Specifically, 2 collective prizes were awarded to the People's Security Academy and the Department of Political Work. Two second prizes for individuals were awarded to contestants Tran Nhu Hoa from the People's Police Academy and Nguyen Cong Vinh from the People's Security University. Two encouragement prizes for individuals were awarded to Nguyen Huy Khanh from the People's Police University and Dinh Thi Linh Chi from the People's Security College.
