Once especially expected to be an attractive playground for students like "SV96" before, "New Generation Students" has had 2 successful seasons. In 2025, the program continues to tell the story of youth, friendship, development journey and ideal reality. The program continues to aim for two main goals: both enhancing academic experiences, skills and team spirit for students, and creating an attractive television playground, connecting young audiences with the innovative spirit of Gen Z generation.

Journalist Phan Long, Deputy Head of Culture - Entertainment Department, Vietnam Television, said: For the 2025 season, the crew has carried out a radical format reconstruction, focusing on practicality, drama and comprehensive development associated with community responsibility for students.
The rounds are redesigned to challenge not only knowledge but also the ability to organize, implement projects and the courage to commit of students in real-life situations, including: Identity Arena, Sports and Talent Arena, Reality Arena, Courage Arena and National Final Arena.
Editor Nguyen Quynh Trang also shared that this year's program is not only an academic competition, but also a journey to discover the mettle, organizational thinking and dedication of Vietnamese students in the new era through a modern lens and close to the general audience. The program still honors team spirit, but at the same time expands the space for each contestant to demonstrate their individual abilities, thereby clearly revealing their maturity after each round.

Regarding this program, Prof. Dr. Tran Xuan Bach, Vice President of the Vietnam Young Physicians Association, one of the judges of the program, said: "New Generation Students" is one of the rare playgrounds where teams and universities with their own identities are creative, interact with each other, open up and from there train each other to increasingly improve the quality of the competitions. This is also an example showing the transformation in the education system of universities that is increasingly closer to the needs of society, to serve, to meet the needs of the country's general development process.
“New Generation Students” 2025 will be broadcast at 8:00 p.m. every Sunday from November 9 on VTV3. The program brings together 8 teams from 8 universities: Diplomatic Academy; School of Business and Administration – Vietnam National University, Hanoi; Hanoi Law University; Hanoi Architectural University; Yersin University; Lac Hong University; Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance; Ho Chi Minh City University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
The total prize value for the Champion is up to 200 million VND, including a bonus of 100 million VND and products from sponsors equivalent to 100 million VND; a project implementation support package; investment opportunities to implement projects from accompanying units; Certificate of Merit from the Ministry of Education and Training. Two Runner-up Prizes worth 50 million VND in bonus for each team; investment opportunities to implement projects from accompanying units; Certificate of Merit from the Ministry of Education and Training.
