Long Xuyen focuses on creating sources of training and recruiting Party members

Long Xuyen Ward Party Committee currently has 87 Party cells and affiliated Party Committees; of which 86 Party cells and Party Committees still have resources to introduce and consider admitting Party members for the period 2026 - 2030, with a total of 782 people. Implementing the resolution of the 1st Long Xuyen Ward Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, the Standing Committee of the Ward Party Committee set a target of striving for the annual admission rate of new Party members in the period 2026 - 2030 to reach 3% compared to the total number of Party members, ensuring quality and reasonable structure. In particular, strive for the rate of Party members admitted in residential areas to be from 35 - 45%, focusing on residential areas without Party members; the teaching staff from 30% or more; workers and laborers outside the State sector and non-public service units from 15% or more.

With the motto of "Building a contingent of party members with sufficient quantity and strong quality", the Long Xuyen Ward Party Committee directed its Party cells, affiliated Party committees, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations to proactively review and select outstanding masses who meet the standards and conditions to train, help and send to attend Party awareness training classes. At the same time, focus on discovering and training masses who are non-professional cadres in hamlets and residential groups; union members and association members active in socio-political organizations; security and order forces at the grassroots level, militia, reserve forces; demobilized soldiers returning to their localities; young people of military age; masses in public and non-public service units; teachers and students... in the direction of ensuring a reasonable structure.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Long Xuyen Ward Party Committee Vo Thi Xuan Kieu said that the Standing Committee of the Ward Party Committee considered and decided to admit 9 new party members from 8 party cells and affiliated party committees; at the same time approved and transferred 19 party development files of high school students to universities for further consideration and admission. Through assessment, the newly admitted party members met the standards of politics, ethics, lifestyle, capacity, and professional qualifications, contributing to improving the quality of the ward Party Committee's party members.

Under the Party Committee of Long Xuyen Medical Center, the Outpatient Party Cell currently has 30 party members, including 26 official party members and 4 probationary party members. Along with enhancing the comprehensive leadership role, building a clean and strong party cell, the party cell focuses on creating sources of party members, and has a plan to develop party members right from the beginning of the year.

According to Dr. Nguyen Thi Phuoc Hanh - Secretary of the Outpatient Party Cell, in the period of 2025 - 2030, the Party Cell has about 13 masses to introduce and consider admitting new Party members. Based on this and the targets set in the resolution, the Party Cell strives to admit at least 6 new Party members during the term, with an average of 1-2 Party members admitted annually. "We build an annual Party member development plan in accordance with the actual situation of the unit, with the goal of supplementing the force of young Party members with capacity and strong political qualities, contributing to improving the fighting strength of the Party organization, ensuring proper implementation of the process, principles and standards for admitting Party members according to the Party Charter. By October 31, the Party Cell admitted 2 new Party members," said Dr. Nguyen Thi Phuoc Hanh.
