Number of visitors and tourism service revenue increased sharply

Since the beginning of 2023, tourism activities in the province have improved, with the number of visitors and tourism service revenue increasing sharply compared to the same period in 2022.

Specifically, the total number of guests served reached 1,158,174, an increase of 65.47% over the same period last year. Of which, the number of guests staying was 834,282, an increase of 79.99% (international guests 23,853, domestic guests 810,429); the number of guests per day was 323,892, an increase of 36.99%.

Regarding travel services, the total number of visitors on tours reached 7,157, up 5.84%; of which domestic visitors were 6,136 (up 7.55%), and international visitors were 1,021 (down 3.41% over the same period last year).

The street festival within the framework of the 8th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival in 2023 attracted the participation of a large number of tourists.

In the first 9 months of 2023, revenue from accommodation services reached VND 495.8 billion (up 18.12%); food and beverage services reached VND 5,642.8 billion (up 6.99%), travel and tourism support services reached VND 46.8 billion (up 24.66%).

The tourism industry has developed positively due to many tourism promotion and connection activities being implemented. Along with that, many cultural, sports and tourism activities have been organized, such as: The 8th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival in 2023, the off-road racing competition, the theme is "Challenge of the Great Forest - Buon Don 2023"...
