12th grade students are preparing for their high school graduation exams at the end of June.
Use the account provided to register for the exam online.
Accordingly, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training has delegated the authority to high schools to provide accounts and passwords to 12th-grade students and guide candidates in preparing documents to register for the online high school graduation exam.
The candidate's account on the exam management system is their citizen identification number (CCCD), national identity card number (CMND), or personal identification number (ĐDCN) issued by the police.
For candidates who do not have a Citizen Identification Card/National Identity Card/Citizen Identification Card or do not have Vietnamese citizenship, their passport number will be used instead. In cases where a candidate does not have a Citizen Identification Card/National Identity Card/Citizen Identification Card/Passport number, the exam management system will assign the candidate a 12-character code.
The Department of Education and Training also reminded students that when updating photos on the system, they must ensure the resolution is 400x600 pixels, that the photos are taken in the style of a citizen's identity card, and that they were taken no more than 6 months before the application submission deadline.
Candidates use their assigned accounts to register for the exam online; check their personal information; register for university and college admissions; and submit supporting documents to receive preferential treatment in university and college admissions at the website http://thisinh.thitotnghiepthpt.edu.vn.
To ensure the accuracy of the information for the high school graduation exam, after schools print the information from the exam management system (exam registration form, graduation recognition application form), students review and sign to confirm.
Independent candidates whose high school transcripts correspond to a specific high school program must register for the exam according to the regulations for that program. In cases where a candidate has lost their original high school transcript and wishes to take the 2024 exam, they must provide a certified copy of the transcript, a copy of their high school academic results, or a certificate from the Department of Education and Training (based on comparison with the records of the high school where they studied in grade 12 or based on their exam records from previous exams).
Note regarding elective subjects, priority points, etc.
High schools need to carefully check the application files (comparing them with academic transcripts, birth certificates, diplomas, certificates, etc.) to ensure absolute accuracy of full name, date of birth, place of birth (including district, county, province, and city); completeness of all columns, no tears or erasures, and full signatures of the person responsible for each section and of the management level...; create a list of students (according to the Ministry of Education and Training's template) that matches the birth certificate and academic transcript, noting any cases eligible for preferential treatment or incentives (if any).
Following the mock exam registration period, starting today (May 2nd), 12th-grade students officially register to take the 2024 high school graduation exam.
The Department of Education and Training also emphasized that school principals are fully responsible for ensuring the eligibility of students in their schools to take the exam. They must check all exam registration files and related documents, review the eligibility of candidates, and decide whether to disqualify candidates from taking the exam if they do not meet the requirements or their documents are invalid.
The principal must pay attention to multiple checks and cross-checks, such as printing out lists for verification and requiring candidates to sign to confirm they have clearly read all the details. Special attention should be paid to: elective subjects, policy-based priority categories, bonus points, foreign languages, etc. Homeroom teachers must take the time to clearly and fully explain all the details of the student's file so that each person can review it and provide feedback.
