Important note for candidates registering for the 2025 high school graduation exam

High schools will create and assign accounts and passwords to 12th grade students by April 15.

The Ministry of Education and Training has provided detailed instructions on the online registration process, facilitating students in completing this procedure.

According to the official announcement, 12th grade candidates for the 2024-2025 school year will register for the exam entirely online on the Ministry of Education and Training's exam management system. Direct registration at school will no longer be applicable to this group.

Account and password issuance: From April 10 to April 15, high schools will create and assign accounts and passwords to candidates studying in grade 12.

Online registration: From April 15 to April 18, candidates will be guided and practice online registration on the system to get familiar with the operations.

Official exam registration: From April 21 to 5:00 p.m. April 28, candidates begin to officially register for the exam on the system.

Steps to register for the exam online:

System access: Candidates access the Ministry of Education and Training's High School Graduation Exam Registration Portal at: https://thisinh.thitotnghiepthpt.edu.vn.

Log in to your account: Use your Citizen Identification Number (CCCD)/Citizen Identification Card (CMND)/Citizen Identification Card (CID) and the login code provided by the school to log in to the system.

For independent candidates, you can log in with your National Public Service Portal account (select the red box with an arrow). However, it should be noted that independent candidates registering with VNeID still have to print the registration form, get confirmation from the ward police and submit paper documents at the reception point.

Change Password: After logging in for the first time, the system will ask candidates to change their password to protect their personal information. The new password must be strong (at least 8 characters, including lowercase letters, uppercase letters, numbers and special characters). Candidates must remember this password carefully.

Enter registration information: Candidates must fill in all required information on the online exam registration form completely and accurately. Information that requires special attention includes: personal information (full name, date of birth, place of birth, gender, ethnicity, ID card number); academic information (high school, class, GPA...); information on registered exam subjects (compulsory and optional); information on exam registration location; information for university and college admission (if any).

Photo ID (according to regulations); Save registration form: After filling in all information and checking carefully, candidates select the "Save registration form" button to complete the data entry process; Print registration form: Candidates log back into their account, select "Registration form" -> "Registration form details" -> "Print registration form" and save the PDF file for checking and comparison when necessary.

Important note for candidates:

Account Security: Candidates must keep their account information and password absolutely confidential. They should change their password immediately after the first login and keep it safe.

Enter correct information: All registration information must match the birth certificate and other identification documents. Incorrect information may affect the candidate's rights.

Check carefully before confirming: After entering data, candidates need to carefully review all information before saving the registration form.

Follow school announcements: Regularly update announcements from the school and the Department of Education and Training about the high school graduation exam.

Support when needed: If you encounter any difficulties during the registration process, candidates should immediately contact their homeroom teacher or the school's examination officer for timely support.

Registering for the exam online is the first and extremely important step in the journey to conquer the high school graduation exam.
