Dismissal of the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Council for Mr. Nguyen Van Duoc

(TN&MT) - On the morning of February 20, the People's Council of Long An province, term X, held the 22nd session (Special session) in 2025. The People's Council unanimously dismissed Mr. Nguyen Van Duoc from the position of Chairman of the People's Council of Long An province, term X, due to a job transfer.

Delegates voted to dismiss Mr. Nguyen Van Duoc from the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Council and to remove him from the position of delegate of the Long An Provincial People's Council.

At the meeting, the Long An Provincial People's Council discussed, voted and passed a resolution agreeing to allow Mr. Nguyen Van Duoc - Member of the Party Central Committee, former Secretary of the Long An Provincial Party Committee to cease his duties as a delegate of the Long An Provincial People's Council, term X, 2021 - 2026, due to being transferred to work at the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee. At the same time, the Provincial People's Council also approved the dismissal of Mr. Nguyen Van Duoc from the position of Chairman of the Long An Provincial People's Council, term X, 2021 - 2026.

Previously, on the afternoon of February 19, Mr. Nguyen Van Duoc also received the Politburo's Decision on ceasing to participate in the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and ceasing to hold the position of Secretary of the Long An Provincial Party Committee, term 2020 - 2025; at the same time, transferring and appointing Mr. Nguyen Van Duoc to participate in the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee and holding the position of Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, term 2020 - 2025.
