Some central schools have traffic jams on the first day of school.

On the morning of August 28, schools in Tay Ninh province began welcoming students back to school after the summer break. However, according to records, at some central schools in Tay Ninh (old), traffic jams occurred on the first day of school.

According to the Decision of the People's Committee of Tay Ninh province on promulgating the schedule for the 2025-2026 school year, on the morning of August 28, 2025, all preschool, primary, general and continuing education classes in the province simultaneously organized a school opening ceremony to welcome students back to school after the summer vacation.

However, at some central schools in Tan Ninh ward, Tay Ninh province, traffic jams were quite chaotic right in front of the school gates.

Specifically, at Kim Dong Primary School, on Nguyen Thai Hoc Street, Tan Ninh Ward, after just over 6 hours, a serious traffic jam occurred. Students and parents had difficulty getting their children to school. Cars and motorbikes were parked all over the sidewalk, even outside on Nguyen Thai Hoc Street.

Traffic police force coordinates traffic regulation

It is known that the main cause of traffic congestion at the school gate is that parents taking their children to school have to park their vehicles on the sidewalk or road, and the school has not opened the gate for parents to go inside like before.

Although there was a traffic police force to regulate traffic, due to the heavy traffic density, the traffic jam lasted for more than 7 hours, and only when the students entered class did it basically stabilize.

At some other schools in Tan Ninh ward, traffic jams have basically improved. For example, Vo Thi Sau Primary School, the school's Board of Directors learned from previous school years, notified parents to bring their children early and opened the gate to guide parents inside to park their vehicles in an orderly manner, so there was no traffic jam.

Because of the notice sent to parents, traffic jam at Vo Thi Sau Primary School did not occur.

The new school year will officially start on September 5. To limit traffic congestion in front of the school gate and reduce traffic jams, schools need to coordinate closely with the authorities and take measures to create the most favorable conditions for parents to pick up and drop off their children. In addition, parents need to be aware of parking their vehicles neatly and orderly when picking up and dropping off their children./.
