Saigon University has just reminded students to follow school regulations and student conduct rules. This is to raise awareness of compliance with regulations and ensure security and order in the school.
Students who repeatedly violate school regulations (such as not wearing/bringing a student ID card, inappropriate clothing, smoking, etc.) will, in addition to having their training points deducted, be subject to disciplinary action ranging from reprimand to expulsion according to regulations.

Attached to the reminder is a document regulating the code of conduct for students issued in 2023 and still in effect. This document clearly states a series of requirements for students when studying at the school.
In particular, the dress code is given special attention. Students are required to wear neat, polite, non-revealing, non-offensive clothing that is appropriate for the teaching environment.
Specifically, for men, clothing includes a T-shirt or shirt, wearing pants that reach to the ankle, except for clothing used for sports and national defense.
For women, appropriate school uniforms must ensure that underwear or exposed areas such as the back, abdomen, chest, or waist are not exposed. If wearing a skirt or dress, it must be at least knee-length, except for uniforms used for sports and national defense.
In addition to the dress code, the code of conduct also requires students to wear student identification cards when coming to school, have a respectful attitude, behave properly with staff and civil servants, be polite with friends, practice civilized school life, not tell lies that affect the school's reputation, study actively and ensure diligence.
Prohibited behaviors include causing disorder, swearing, arguing, excessive displays of personal affection in public places, bringing weapons to school, gambling, smoking (including e-cigarettes), using stimulants, drinking alcohol in work and study areas, eating and drinking in classrooms, lecture halls, auditoriums, libraries, and littering.
To ensure the regulations are enforced, Saigon University has established a working group to conduct surprise inspections of students' compliance with the code of conduct and the school's general regulations.
Students who violate school regulations many times, in addition to having their training points deducted, will be subject to disciplinary action ranging from reprimand to expulsion according to regulations.
Due to its uniqueness as one of the leading pedagogical universities in the Southern region, where future teachers are trained, Saigon University's focus on building a standard school culture environment through regulations on dress and behavior is considered appropriate and necessary.
