MU makes surprising decision with Hojlund

Despite receiving interest from Inter Milan and Napoli, Manchester United are not interested in selling striker Rasmus Hojlund in this summer transfer window.

Hojlund is unlikely to leave MU this summer.

Hojlund joined MU from Atalanta for a fee of up to 72 million pounds in the summer of 2023, but his performance has not met expectations. He has only scored 26 goals in 95 appearances. His poor scoring record has led experts to believe that the "Red Devils" should consider selling the Danish striker to bring in a better name for the 2025/26 season.

However, according to The Times , MU is showing hesitation. Inter Milan want to borrow Hojlund with a £38 million buyout clause, and Napoli are also ready to join the race. However, MU will only agree if they receive a truly attractive offer, because they believe Hojlund still has potential to develop.

"Obviously if there is an attractive offer, United will think about it. But in reality, they still believe Hojlund is better than what people see. United hope to see Hojlund 2.0 next season," The Times reporter Charlotte Duncker shared on The Game podcast.

In another development, former striker Louis Saha warned MU not to lose Amad Diallo, amid reports that the team is pursuing Brentford's Bryan Mbeumo.

Responding to Express Sport , Saha frankly said: "No! Absolutely not! If there are two players that MU are not allowed to sell, they are Amad and Bruno Fernandes. Amad is the type of player who is always ready to play in any position. He once said he would play left-back or center-back, as long as he gets to play."

Bruno Fernandes received an attractive offer from Saudi Arabia's Al-Hilal club this summer, but decided to decline to continue his commitment to Old Trafford.
