
On the night of May 17, Ba Be Power Company ( Bac Kan Power Company) urgently mobilized staff to inspect the power grid to ensure safety for people and equipment. On the morning of May 18, leaders of Bac Kan Power Company directly went to the scene to direct the repair work. Through inspection, the unit recorded many major incidents such as broken wires, broken 17 medium-voltage poles and many low-voltage poles, 17 transformer stations had to be taken out of operation due to flooding. A total of 1,688 customers in the area lost power.

Currently, Ba Be Power Company's technical staff are still actively checking, calculating the damage and making plans to temporarily supply electricity to severely affected areas. Bac Kan Power Company is closely monitoring the situation and directing urgent troubleshooting, ensuring the earliest possible restoration of electricity to people in flooded areas.
