QTO - On December 1, Commander of the Military Command of Tuyen Lam Commune, Cai Cong Chuong, said that a local resident was digging soil to build a house foundation when he discovered a bomb about 1 meter long and weighing about 340 kg, still intact.

The bomb was discovered at 2:30 p.m. on December 1, in the garden of Mr. Cao Van Hoi (born 1971), in Tien Phong village, Tuyen Lam commune. At the time of discovery, the bomb was still intact, suspected to be a 750 pound bomb. The bomb was about 1 meter long, with an average diameter of about 40 cm, and weighed about 340 kg.

Currently, the bomb has been detected by the Commune Military Command in coordination with the Commune Police and Ra Mai Border Guard Station, and a record has been made of the bomb, a fence has been set up to protect the scene, and at the same time, a report has been made to the specialized forces for support and handling according to regulations.
