The purchase price of custard apples at the beginning of the season has increased by 15 - 20 thousand VND/kg compared to the same period in 2024.

The total custard apple growing area in the province in 2025 is about 4,900 hectares, of which the custard apple growing area is mainly in the former Chi Lang and Huu Lung districts (accounting for 4,700 hectares). The yield of the custard apple crop in 2025 is 105 quintals/ha. The estimated custard apple output in the 2025 crop is about 39,000 tons.

According to calculations by the specialized department of the Department of Agriculture and Environment, the 2025 custard apple crop will start harvesting from the end of July 2025 to October 2025. If the custard apple price remains stable as at the beginning of the season, the total revenue from custard apples in the province will be estimated at 1,200 - 1,400 billion VND.
