In 2024, Ninh Binh Tax Department strives to collect more than 15 trillion VND for the State budget

On the morning of January 12, the Provincial Tax Department held a conference to summarize tax work in 2023 and deploy tasks and solutions for tax work in 2024.

In 2023, the Provincial Tax Department focused on directing units in the system to synchronously and drastically implement tax management solutions, contributing to increasing revenue, limiting arrears, and preventing revenue loss... The budget revenue in 2023 managed by the Ninh Binh Tax sector was 13,929 billion VND; of which revenue from taxes, fees, charges and other budget revenues (excluding land use fees) reached 12,226 billion VND; land use fees reached 1,703 billion VND.

Among the solutions implemented in 2023, the Provincial Tax Department has effectively implemented propaganda and support for taxpayers; continued to apply information technology, innovate and modernize propaganda and support for taxpayers and build electronic support products for taxpayers to further enhance the efficiency and interaction between tax authorities and taxpayers.

The Provincial Tax Department organized 7 training conferences on policies for taxpayers, published 128 news and articles on the industry's website; coordinated with Ninh Binh Newspaper, Provincial Radio and Television, Financial Times and Tax Magazine to publish 95 news and articles; organized propaganda in the form of distributing leaflets about the "Lucky Invoice" program... During the period, the Ninh Binh tax industry received, answered and promptly supported questions and problems about tax policies for taxpayers through the following forms: Directly at the tax office 7,126 times; via Zalo, Fanpage, Email... 1,582 times; in writing 62 times...

In addition, the Provincial Tax Department has directed and implemented synchronously and drastically measures to collect and enforce taxes, striving to achieve the goal of reducing tax debts; continuing to maintain the public disclosure of 1,702 taxpayers with tax debts (VND 5,691 billion) on mass media, promoting the sense of responsibility of leaders; issuing 861,775 tax debt notices to taxpayers (reaching 100%); sending 8,481 tax debt notices to business owners/legal representatives of enterprises to notify and urge tax debt collection; issuing 5,196 decisions to enforce deductions from accounts and 491 decisions to stop using invoices; temporarily suspending the exit of 39 individuals who are legal representatives of enterprises subject to tax debt enforcement.

The Tax Department has identified 2024 as a breakthrough year to complete the 5-year Plan 2021 - 2025 in the context of many socio-economic difficulties. To ensure the completion of the 2024 budget collection task, the Provincial Tax Department focuses resources, drastically and synchronously deploys solutions for revenue management, tax debt recovery, and anti-budget loss, determined to complete the 2024 State budget revenue estimate assigned by the Ministry of Finance and the Provincial People's Council of more than 15 trillion VND; of which domestic revenue excluding land use fees is more than 11,313 billion VND; land use fees are 3,700 billion VND.

At the same time, the Tax sector focuses on strengthening discipline, order, raising the sense of responsibility of cadres and civil servants in performing public duties and effectively implementing the work of preventing and combating corruption; saving and combating waste; promoting training, fostering and improving the quality of human resources in the Tax sector, contributing to the excellent completion of assigned political tasks.
