Nam Giang donates 10 breeding cows to poor households in Dac Chung district, Laos

(QNO) - On the afternoon of May 28, a delegation from Nam Giang district visited and presented breeding cows in Dac Chung district, Sekong province, Laos.

At the visit, Mr. Nguyen Dang Chuong - Vice Chairman of Nam Giang District People's Committee presented 10 breeding cows to support poor households in Dac Chung district with a total value of 250 million VND.

According to Mr. Chuong, the support for breeding cows aims to create conditions for poor households in Dac Chung district to raise livestock to develop the economy, reduce poverty sustainably, contribute to gradually changing the socio-economic appearance of Dac Chung district, and maintain political security in the border area of ​​the two districts.

This is a concrete activity to implement the memorandum of understanding between the two districts for the period 2022 - 2025. Accordingly, each year Nam Giang district supports Dac Chung district with 200 million VND to develop family economy , contributing to sustainable poverty reduction.
