(Dan Tri) - Male student Tran Thanh Tien took the opportunity to learn English while waiting for orders while transporting goods in Hoi An City, Quang Nam .
Tran Thanh Tien, a final year student majoring in Business Administration at the University of Architecture in Da Nang , attracted attention with the image of him studying while waiting for a delivery order. The above image was recorded when Tran Thanh Tien was waiting for an order to deliver to a customer at a milk tea shop in Hoi An City, Quang Nam. The male student opened his books to study while working because of his habit of taking advantage of all free time during the day to study English. "Although I didn't have any urgent homework to complete at that time, I knew that the order would take a long time, so I decided to take out my books to do my homework. I didn't expect my image to be recorded until my friends informed me via social networks," Thanh Tien shared.

This habit of using time to study has been around since he started working as a shipper 4 to 5 months ago to pay for his English course. While working as a delivery man, Tien often uses his free time while waiting for orders for different study purposes. When he is in a crowded, noisy place, Tien will not study vocabulary, but instead will study grammar exercises. In quiet, deserted places, Tien will take advantage of the time to supplement his vocabulary in his textbook.

In previous years, the male student spent most of his time studying at school, going to work and socializing with friends. However, recently, Tien has realized the role of English in his work and the profession he is studying, so he is determined to learn English, starting with the most basic knowledge. Ms. Duong Thi Thanh Thuy, Tien's English teacher, commented that the male student had limited knowledge when he first started studying, but in return he was very hard-working, had a high desire and determination. "I often tell my classmates to look at Tien's example to study harder. He is always proactive and serious in learning grammar and vocabulary, so his vocabulary is quite good," Ms. Thuy commented. Sharing about his job as a shipper, Tien said that this job provides the male student with a stable source of income and helps him be proactive in arranging his time to both study and work. However, the male student only considers this a temporary job and will put it aside after graduating. "However, I consider being a shipper as a hobby, so I will probably still turn on the app to do it when I have free time," Tien said.

During his time as a shipper, Tien had many interesting experiences. In addition to traveling a lot and working with friends, Tien also helped people in difficult situations while doing transportation. "When I see someone in an accident on the road, I often help them push their cart. If I see them needing help and pass by, I feel guilty even though I have done nothing wrong," Tien shared.

In addition to his job as a shipper, Tran Thanh Tien has also nurtured his passion for being a sports commentator since grade 12. Realizing that there were not many job opportunities for this job in his hometown, Tien temporarily put aside his hobby and planned not to take the university entrance exam. However, with the encouragement of his family, Tien continued to study and took the entrance exam for the Business Administration major at the University of Architecture, Da Nang. In the near future, the male student aims to graduate with a good degree and wants to continue to improve his knowledge and foreign language skills to serve his future work.
