Hanoi male student beats friend to death at FPT University

In the clip, the male student in black was beaten and brutally punched by another male student, but did not react and just stood there taking the beating. On social media, an account believed to be the mother of the beaten male student said that after school, the first-year male student LTC was stopped by a group of friends, then the Chinese male student beat LTC in front of many other people.

Thach That District Police worked with the male student in white shirt who beat his friend to death right on the campus of FPT University.

Speaking with Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper on the evening of May 21, a representative of FPT University said that recently, on the campus of FPT University Hoa Lac campus, a fight took place between two Chinese and LTC students. The school deeply regrets this incident.

"After learning about the incident, the school worked with the parents of LTC students and is coordinating with the Thach That District Police to handle the matter according to the law and regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training," said a representative of FPT University.

Currently, the LTC student has been transferred to the hospital for health care. The school has also visited the hospital to check on the LTC student's health and is considering financial support options for him, hoping that he will recover soon so that his studies will not be interrupted.

Thach That District Police are currently working with Chinese students to assist in the investigation.

The school decided to temporarily suspend the Chinese student to serve the investigation and await the conclusion of the authorities.

"The school also hopes that students in the school will improve their self-control when dealing with personal conflicts, avoiding extreme behaviors that can cause harm to themselves and the community. The school will strictly handle these behaviors according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training" - FPT University representative affirmed.
