Reporting at the meeting, Mr. Huynh Ngoc Tien, Deputy Chief Inspector of the province, said that in 2023 and 9 months of 2024, the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee conducted 22 regular and unscheduled citizen receptions, including 80 visits (68 cases) with a total of 1,306 people, including 18 large groups. Of which, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee received 13 visits/43 visits/628 people/44 cases and 9 large groups; authorized the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to receive 9 visits/37 visits/678 people/24 cases and 9 large groups.

The Provincial Inspectorate regularly received citizens 46 times/46 people/46 cases. From January 2023 to now, the Provincial People's Committee has issued 25 Notices of conclusions on receiving citizens by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, with a total of 40 cases; 17 cases have been completed (42.5%). In addition, the Provincial People's Committee has received and handled 166 complaints and 85 denunciations; the Provincial Inspectorate has received 87 complaints and 100 denunciations.

At the working session, the Provincial Inspectorate proposed that the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee strengthen supervision of citizen reception, complaint and denunciation settlement of departments, branches and localities; especially the implementation of citizen reception regime of heads of Party committees and authorities at all levels in the province.

Concluding the working session, Mr. Le Tri Thanh requested the Provincial Inspectorate to pay attention to and carry out a number of related tasks to improve the quality and effectiveness of citizen reception, complaint and denunciation settlement to ensure the rights and interests of citizens. In particular, it is necessary to pay attention to strengthening the mobilization, persuasion, and explanation for citizens to withdraw their petitions; perfecting the software for citizen reception, management of complaints, denunciations, petitions, and reflections; researching and promulgating the process of receiving and classifying petitions and reflections; improving the qualifications of inspection staff at all levels...
