In addition to political and professional activities, the agency has organized many cultural and sports activities, such as volleyball and pickleball exchanges; the Union organized discussions on International Women's Day (March 8) and Vietnamese Women's Day (October 20). In the past 2 years, Lai Chau Newspaper has organized many tours to provinces and cities across the country, thereby helping leaders of specialized departments, reporters and editors to broaden their knowledge, learn how to do things and apply them appropriately to the agency's practice. In particular, on the occasions of commemorating the Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21), traditional New Year, and major holidays, the agency organizes intimate meetings, honors outstanding individuals, exchanges professional skills, and combines joyful and cozy collective activities. Not only taking care of the spiritual life of journalists, Lai Chau Newspaper also pays attention to organizing activities for children of officials and civil servants on International Children's Day, Mid-Autumn Festival, etc. Individuals with high achievements in studying and winning prizes in national journalism competitions, Lai Chau Newspaper always honors, commends, and rewards them in agency and party cell meetings. From there, each reporter and editor feels the timely recognition, encouragement, and motivation, and strives to achieve higher results in creating works.

Reporter Vuong Thi Quynh Trang - who was recently honored to receive the Award for Composing and Promoting Literary, Artistic and Journalistic Works with the theme of Studying and Following Ho Chi Minh's Thought, Morality and Style, Phase II, 2021 - 2025, shared: I am very lucky to have won the award in the promotion category at the provincial and central levels. This is a great encouragement and motivation for me to carry out works in the difficult and remote border areas of the province, expressing the most practical and meaningful actions in studying and following Uncle Ho.
