At the conference, experts and scientists analyzed, clarified, affirmed, and deepened the nature of the cooperative relationship between the People's Public Security and the People's Army throughout history and in the cause of building and protecting the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland in the era of national development.

Delegates assessed the results of coordination between the People's Public Security Force and the People's Army over the past period, both in terms of achievements and limitations, difficulties, and obstacles in implementing the coordination relationship in accordance with Decree No. 03/2019/ND-CP, dated September 5, 2019, on coordination between the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Public Security in performing tasks of protecting national security, ensuring social order and safety, combating crime, and national defense. In particular, through the synthesis of contributions, presentations, delegates, experts, and scientists, forecasts the situation, analyzed the requirements, and proposed solutions to improve the effectiveness of the coordination relationship between the People's Public Security Force and the People's Army in the coming period.

Speaking at the conference, Lieutenant General, Associate Professor, and Doctor Phan Xuan Tuy stated: "Through the coordination process between the two forces, the awareness of commanders, officers, and soldiers in the Army and Police regarding the situation, tasks, and responsibilities of coordination between the two forces has undergone many positive changes. The solidarity, understanding, and close ties between the two forces at all levels have become deeper. The leadership and guidance of Party committees at all levels, the administration of the government, and the responsibility of various sectors and mass organizations in coordinating with the Army and Police have been strengthened. The trust and support of all strata of the people for the Police and Army in maintaining security and order and fulfilling national defense tasks have improved. This conference is an opportunity for us to better understand and evaluate this."
