Improving resilience to changes in the world biosphere reserve of Cu Lao Cham - Hoi An | QUANG NAM ONLINE NEWSPAPER

(QNO) - On the afternoon of May 25, in Hoi An City, the Cu Lao Cham Marine Protected Area Management Board organized a dialogue "The role of stakeholders in enhancing adaptation and resilience to changes in the biosphere".

At the dialogue, representatives of subjects living and working in the Cu Lao Cham - Hoi An world biosphere reserve gave many opinions identifying challenges, the origin of the problem as well as suggesting adaptive solutions so that the ecosystem of this biosphere reserve continues to be preserved and developed sustainably.

Many issues are divided into groups such as: biology, environment, climate change, policy... have been discussed and transferred by the parties to management agencies such as Hoi An City People's Committee and Cu Lao Cham Marine Protected Area Management Board for local leaders to directly dialogue, receive, and find solutions to improve and remove in the coming time.

This is an activity to celebrate the 14th anniversary of Cu Lao Cham - Hoi An being recognized by UNESCO as a world biosphere reserve (May 26, 2009 - May 26, 2023).
