This is a scientific activity of practical significance, aiming to create a forum for academic and practical exchange, clarifying the role and contribution of women in education and promoting human rights. The workshop is also an opportunity to share experiences, effective models and propose practical policy solutions, contributing to promoting women's potential, promoting gender equality and moving towards sustainable development in the new context.

Practical and topical topics
Speaking at the opening of the workshop, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Dao Tung, Director of the Academy of Finance, emphasized that women are not only beneficiaries, but also inspirers, practitioners and spreaders of human rights values in reality - from family, school to community and society.
The role of women today is not only limited to being educators in the family, but also expanded to being teachers, educational managers, researchers, social activists and policy makers, contributing to the construction and development of the country.
Vietnam is a country with a long tradition of profound humanity, in which women are always considered an important and inseparable force in all areas of social life, from family building, economic development to education and the fight for social justice and progress.
According to Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Dao Tung, Vietnam is in a period of strong transformation - the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, of comprehensive digital transformation, of deep international integration, of green growth and sustainable development. In that context, education and human rights cannot be overlooked, and the role of women is indispensable.
"We need more courageous, intelligent, creative and visionary women to participate in policy making, lead educational institutions, lead scientific research and protect the universal values of human rights," Associate Professor, Dr. Meritorious Student Nguyen Dao Tung affirmed.
Therefore, the Workshop is a scientific forum of practical significance, where scientists and researchers together recognize, evaluate and propose solutions to promote the role of women in the field of education and protection of human rights, especially in the context of the country entering a period of strong development, proactive integration and profound transformation in many aspects.

In his opening speech at the workshop, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Manh Thieu, Deputy Director of the Academy of Finance, pointed out that education and protection of human rights is one of the top priorities of the United Nations to build a fair, equal and peaceful world.
Women are not only beneficiaries of human rights, but also active participants in education, communication, policy making and other social activities, aiming to develop skills, attitudes and values; promote and protect human rights; and become a driving force for positive change in society.
With continuous efforts over the years, Vietnam has achieved remarkable achievements in ensuring human rights, but reality shows that awareness of the importance of education and protection of human rights in society is still limited, and the presence of these activities in community life is not really commensurate.
In particular, in the process of practical implementation, women are still facing many challenges in participating and contributing to education and protecting human rights - especially in the context of rapidly changing society and increasing inequality. Therefore, organizing academic forums to clarify the position, role and contributions of women in this field is extremely necessary and has practical significance.
From that awareness and requirement, the Workshop is expected to be a forum for exchanging, sharing and publishing scientific research results related to education, human rights protection and the role of women in the above issues. On that basis, the Workshop aims to propose policy solutions to improve the effectiveness of education activities, protect human rights, and at the same time maximize the potential and role of women in this process - thereby contributing to the realization of sustainable development goals and gender equality.
According to Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Manh Thieu, after nearly 5 months of implementation, the Organizing Committee of the Conference received 174 articles from scientists, experts, lecturers from many agencies, departments, research institutes, academies and universities: Academy of Finance, Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of Ha Giang Provincial Party Committee, Institute for Human, Family and Gender Studies, Institute of Human Rights - Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Vietnam Women's Academy...
Of these, 129 papers were selected for inclusion in the Conference Proceedings. This partly demonstrates the deep interest of scientific researchers in the practical and topical topics of this Conference.

The workshop deeply analyzed the current situation of women's participation in education and human rights protection in Vietnam, with specific evidence from educational institutions, government agencies in urban, rural and ethnic minority areas. Differences in access conditions, development opportunities and levels of women's participation in different regions were also raised and viewed objectively and scientifically.

Many opinions focused on analyzing the current difficulties, barriers and challenges for women in performing their role in education and protecting human rights, from institutional factors, culture, gender stereotypes, to the working environment, policy support and career development space, especially in the context of digital transformation and deep international integration.
The workshop also received many valid and practical recommendations to promote the role of women in this field. These include: Building human rights education programs that integrate gender and the active participation of women as teachers, managers and policy makers; Increasing investment in policies to support women in disadvantaged areas and ethnic minorities; Encouraging women's participation in forums, organizations and social networks on human rights and human rights education; Promoting interdisciplinary and cross-disciplinary research on gender and human rights in the educational environment...
The contents presented and discussed at the Workshop demonstrated a multi-dimensional, scientific and humane vision, affirming that: Women are not only a part that needs to be protected but are also the core force, an important human resource in the cause of educational development, building a democratic, equitable society and respecting human rights.

In his closing speech at the conference, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Ho Phi Ha, Vice President of the Trade Union of the Academy of Finance, highly appreciated the serious, multi-dimensional and dedicated academic spirit of the scientists, delegates and speakers.
Associate Professor, Dr. Phi Ha summarized 4 points from the workshop: Clarifying the theoretical and legal basis of human rights and the central role of women; Analyzing the current situation and barriers: gender prejudice, lack of support mechanisms, academic inequality; Proposing many feasible policies to promote human rights education associated with gender mainstreaming; Affirming that women are not only beneficiaries but also the force creating sustainable human rights in the integration era. Associate Professor, Dr. Phi Ha emphasized: "Today's results will not end in the hall but will spread in lectures, curriculum, development strategies and community awareness".
