One of the major and important tasks completed by Da Nang Urban Environment Joint Stock Company in early 2025 is to implement a 20-day peak period focusing on serving the Tet At Ty (from December 14, Giap Thin year to January 5, At Ty year), with the volume of garbage collected and transported of nearly 25,500 tons of garbage, an average increase of 23.9% compared to normal days, not leaving garbage in residential areas.

Accordingly, the company organized many general cleaning and garbage collection campaigns during the days before Tet; mobilized 100% of staff, workers and employees (nearly 1,150 people), vehicles and added nearly 500 new trash cans of various types to serve garbage collection; increased the arrangement of mechanical vehicles for street sweeping and washing...

In particular, in response to the sudden increase in the volume of garbage on the last day of the Year of the Dragon, the company rented 40 dump trucks and 4 excavators from an outside unit and set up 3 temporary garbage transfer points to increase the capacity of garbage collection and transportation with a total volume of more than 3,700 tons of garbage, 3.6 times higher than normal days and the highest ever. This demonstrates the company's great responsibility and efforts in completing the assigned political tasks as required by the city and ensuring the landscape and environmental sanitation in the districts.

General Director of Da Nang Urban Environment Joint Stock Company Vo Minh Duc said that the successful completion of the environmental sanitation service task during the Tet holiday has created an important driving force for the company to successfully carry out the following tasks in 2025. The company will continue to organize good environmental sanitation services during festivals and events in the city, especially tourism events, Da Nang International Fireworks Festival... and continue to implement and complete the mechanized garbage collection and street cleaning plan in districts.

In addition, continue to implement cashless garbage collection; focus on urging collection progress, exploiting revenue sources to mobilize and ensure budget for street cleaning activities; collect, transport, and treat garbage and continue to invest in necessary items to operate the centralized production control center to improve the efficiency of the above activities.

Along with that, continue to coordinate with local authorities, associations and unions to organize propaganda and mobilize people to do a good job of environmental sanitation and communication activities to raise awareness for workers and people in environmental protection, classifying waste at source; take good care of material life and promptly resolve policies for workers; operate Khanh Son landfill well, implement well the processes and regulations on waste collection, treatment and security at the landfill...

Mr. Vo Minh Duc also shared that, in the context of many difficulties, the company is determined to complete the resolution of the Party Committee of the company on the direction and tasks for 2025, in which it strives to achieve total revenue of 278 billion VND, an increase of nearly 6.5 billion VND compared to 2024; pay the state budget 22.97 billion VND, an increase of nearly 2 billion VND...

To achieve the above goal, in addition to continuing to propose to relevant agencies of the city to increase the price of domestic waste collection and transportation services, the company has promoted the implementation of solutions to increase revenue, such as reviewing and improving the quality of collection prices for domestic waste collection and transportation services; focusing on participating in bidding for public sanitation services in the period of 2025-2027; gradually investing in and optimizing the collection, transportation and treatment of industrial waste and hazardous waste; increasing participation in providing other services in business activities as well as increasing exploitation of non-budget markets to create a driving force for sustainable and long-term development...

The company improves the quality of vehicle and equipment repair; increases investment in innovation, replaces outdated equipment and technology in a modern direction as well as enhances the application of mechanization, increases the technology content in activities of collecting household waste and cleaning urban areas, beaches..., in order to improve the quality of environmental sanitation and increase revenue, profit, improve income and life of workers.
