In parallel with her professional work, Mai works as a freelance model to earn extra income, learn and build social relationships. She believes: "It will be difficult for an individual to develop if they are always closed, do not interact and learn from those who have gone before". Nhat Mai also has a hobby of traveling and exploring new lands. Through each trip, Mai makes more friends and understands more about the unique culture of each destination.
