Trang Dai intersection flooded, traffic jam after heavy rain

(DN)- On the afternoon of July 6, the Trang Dai intersection area (Dong Khoi Street intersects with Bui Trong Nghia Street), the section through Tan Phong Ward and Trang Dai Ward of Bien Hoa City, continued to experience deep flooding and local traffic congestion after heavy rain.

According to Dong Nai Newspaper reporters, at around 4 p.m., a sudden heavy rain caused the Trang Dai intersection to be deeply flooded. Many flooded areas exceeded the hard median strip in the middle of the road, overflowing onto sidewalks and porches. Because the flooding coincided with the time when workers got off work in the afternoon, many motorbikes and cars poured into the Trang Dai intersection, causing traffic jams.

It is worth mentioning that on Dong Khoi Street in Trang Dai Ward, the water was so deep that many motorbike riders drove in the wrong direction onto Dong Khoi Street in Tan Phong Ward. This obstructed vehicles going in the right direction, causing vehicles to crowd together, which was very dangerous.
