“The Rokot-M project has been signed, in which we will cooperate in supplying components and are currently manufacturing test products, as well as guidance components for the first missile,” Varochko said in an interview.
In May 2022, Russia announced plans to launch the rocket from the Plesetsk space center in 2024.
The launch was originally scheduled for 2022. However, after detailed inspection, experts concluded that the rest of the rocket needed upgrading.
In 2018, the Khrunichev Space Center announced that it was working on the Rokot-2 rocket with a new control system, replacing the Ukrainian equipment installed on the Rokot launch vehicles.

In total, the Khrunichev Space Center has produced and launched more than 30 rockets with Ukrainian control systems within the framework of the Rokot project.
