Watch the Russian Navy warships just arrived in Da Nang

On May 10, a fleet of ships from the Pacific Fleet of the Russian Navy docked at Tien Sa port, beginning a friendly visit to Da Nang city.

The Russian Navy flotilla includes the corvette Rezki, the corvette Hero of the Russian Federation Aldar Tsydenzhapov and the medium-sized tanker Pechenga, with 262 officers, sailors and personnel, commanded by Colonel Anciferov Alexey Vitalievich.

During the visit, from May 10-14, the Russian Navy delegation will participate in activities such as paying courtesy calls to leaders of the Da Nang City People's Committee, the Naval Region 3 Command, the Military Region 5 Command, exchanging with officers and soldiers of the Vietnam Navy, visiting the city and organizing joint training...

The visit of the Russian Navy fleet takes place on a special occasion, as 2025 marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Russia (January 30, 1950). The traditional friendship between the two countries has been increasingly strengthened, gradually upgraded to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, in which defense and military cooperation is one of the pillars.

This event not only affirms the trust and close relationship between the two countries, but also opens up many new opportunities in economic, cultural, educational cooperation and people-to-people exchange between Da Nang City and other localities.
