Social Policy Bank supports loans for students studying STEM

Pursuant to Decision 29/2025/QD-TTg dated August 28, 2025 of the Prime Minister on credit for students, master's students, and biological researchers in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies is implementing a program to support loans for studying STEM.

Accordingly, the subjects supported with loans are students, master's students, and biological researchers in the fields of science , technology, engineering, and mathematics, including:

Life sciences, natural sciences

Computers and information technology

Financial technology

Engineering technology, engineering

Architecture and construction

Production and processing

Mathematics and statistics

Other key technology training sectors as prescribed by law.

The purpose of loan support is to help students cover tuition, living expenses and other learning costs while studying STEM.

The maximum loan amount for 01 student to support tuition, living expenses and other study expenses for the remaining duration of the course, including: All tuition fees to be paid by the student as confirmed by the school; Living expenses and other study expenses up to 5 million VND/month. The loan interest rate is 4.8%/year.
