Industry and trade sector seeks opinions to complete draft Law on Economical and Efficient Use of Energy

The document signed by Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hoang Long stated that, assigned as the agency in charge of drafting the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Economical and Efficient Use of Energy, which will be submitted to the Government in February 2025 and to the National Assembly Standing Committee in March 2025, the Ministry of Industry and Trade requested agencies, units, and localities to give their opinions on the draft documents of the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Economical and Efficient Use of Energy. Accordingly, the documents include the draft Law; draft Submission to the Government; report on reviewing the Party's policies and guidelines, legal documents, international treaties related to the draft; report summarizing the implementation of the law, etc.

The written comments should be sent to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and a soft copy should be sent to the email address: VietTV@moit.gov.vn before February 21, 2025 for the Ministry of Industry and Trade to synthesize and carry out the next procedures.
