In his opening speech and launching the program, comrade Tran The Cuong, Director of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training , expressed his deep sympathy and sorrow for the heavy losses that the northern provinces had to suffer after two consecutive storms No. 10 (Bualoi) and No. 11 (Matmo).

Prolonged heavy rains have caused landslides, deep flooding, and damaged many schools, making the lives of teachers and students in flood-affected areas extremely difficult. In this context, the capital's education sector needs to promote more than ever the spirit of "mutual love and support" and "helping each other" to share with colleagues, students, and people in disaster-stricken areas.

The capital's education sector also acknowledged and commended many schools in the city for proactively donating and sharing difficulties with people in affected provinces. This is a noble gesture, demonstrating the sense of responsibility and humanity of the teaching staff, contributing to spreading kindness and promoting the spirit of "Hanoi for the whole country, with the whole country".

Teacher Pham Thi Thu Ha, a teacher at Chu Van An Secondary School, on behalf of the teachers in the whole school, shared her emotions: "As a teacher of the Hanoi education and training sector, and also a child of Thai Nguyen - a land that is suffering a lot of damage, I am extremely moved and grateful to the Hanoi Department of Education and Training for organizing this meaningful program. Thanks to that, our teachers and students can send our hearts through small gifts, equipment, school supplies, letters, postcards with messages of love to colleagues and students in the flood area. I believe that today's gestures will not only stop at this ceremony, but will also be extended forever with the spirit of "No one is left behind".

Teacher Pham Thi Thu Ha - a daughter of Thai Nguyen land shared her emotional feelings for her fellow countrymen.

At the launching program, Doan Lu Thuy Phuong, a student of class 8A11, represented the school's students to share his sentiments: "We, the students of the Capital, are also in the area affected by the storm, but are still fortunate to be able to go to school in peace, to live in abundance and protection. It is this contrast that makes us understand more deeply the meaning of the two words "compatriots" and feel that we need to share more with those who are facing difficulties. Therefore, we want to share and send our feelings to our friends in the flood areas - those who are in dire need of encouragement and support to overcome this difficult period."

Student Doan Lu Thuy Phuong, representing students of Chu Van An Secondary School, read a letter to students in flood-affected areas.

In a letter to students in disaster-stricken areas, she wrote: "Natural disasters can make people tired, hurt, and scared. But natural disasters cannot subdue kind hearts, cannot knock down people who know how to hold hands and stand up together. In the flood-stricken areas over the past few days, people have seen the sacred power of human love: boats crossing the raging waters overnight to bring instant noodles and warm clothes to every house; people from far away sent notebooks, blankets, and simple but warm words of encouragement like fire... My friends! The flood will recede. The mud will dry. The roads will reappear. The fields will be green again. The school drum will resound. But after all, I believe that people after natural disasters are no longer the same people as yesterday. You have become more mature, more profound, stronger, knowing how to appreciate every meal, every page of a book, every class that seemed normal but turned out to be sacred."

Donation and support activities take place after the launching ceremony.

At the event, leaders of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training presented symbolic items including necessities, books, school supplies and teaching aids to the Department of Culture and Society of Trung Gia and Da Phuc communes of Hanoi - areas that suffered heavy consequences from storms and floods. Representatives of the localities expressed their emotions and gratitude for the care and sharing of the capital's education sector for students and teachers in disadvantaged areas, considering this a valuable source of encouragement to help students confidently go to school, and schools have more conditions to maintain and improve the quality of teaching and learning.

Immediately after the launching ceremony, the Department's units and schools in the city simultaneously implemented many forms of support: Donating books, school supplies, clothes, food, and essential necessities. Many schools will also organize for students to write letters and make cards to send to teachers and students in flood-affected areas as an important encouragement and spirit boost.

In addition to timely fundraising activities, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training has directed departments, offices, young teachers' clubs, trade unions and youth unions to continue maintaining the movement, expanding more long-term and sustainable forms of support so that the spirit of sharing becomes a way of life and a behavioral culture of the people of the capital.
