The aviation industry is partnering with Da Nang tourism to achieve breakthroughs.

On the evening of December 17th, the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized the "Aviation Accompanying Da Nang Tourism 2025" meeting to acknowledge and express gratitude for the aviation industry's partnership in connecting and significantly contributing to the recovery and growth of the city's tourism industry in recent years.

Speaking at the event, Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Thi, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City, emphasized: "2025 marks a new phase of development for the city after its merger with Quang Nam province, opening up vast opportunities for economic, infrastructure, and urban development."

In that picture, tourism continues to play a key role as a leading economic sector, with a strong recovery in both the international and domestic tourist markets, along with the restoration and opening of many new flight routes.

City leaders expressed their appreciation to the airport management agencies, aviation security forces, border police, customs, quarantine, ground service units, and air traffic control at Da Nang International Airport and Chu Lai Airport – the “first points of contact” that contribute to creating a positive impression for tourists visiting Da Nang.

At the same time, we acknowledge the important role of airlines in expanding the connectivity network, bringing millions of tourists, investors, and partners to the city, contributing to promoting socio-economic development and elevating Da Nang's position on the regional map.

Within the framework of the program, a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation for the period 2026-2030 was signed between the Da Nang City Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Da Nang International Airport, Chu Lai Airport, and Da Nang International Terminal Investment and Exploitation Joint Stock Company.

The memorandum aims to enhance coordination in promoting and maintaining new flight routes, advertising destinations, sharing market information, and improving the visitor experience.

In the coming period, Da Nang hopes to continue receiving close cooperation, a spirit of partnership, and innovative collaboration from its aviation partners; working together to open new routes, increase flight frequencies, improve service quality, and promote international markets.

In particular, the city is proposing the implementation of an investment and development project for Chu Lai Airport and its airport-urban economic ecosystem using the PPP (Public-Private Partnership) model, with a total estimated investment of approximately 10 billion USD, hoping to create new impetus for regional connectivity and development.

The "Aviation Accompanying Da Nang Tourism 2025" meeting program affirms the strategic partnership between the aviation and tourism industries, and demonstrates the city's determination to build Da Nang into a safe, friendly, convenient, and attractive destination, aiming to become a dynamic tourism and trade hub in the region.
