The total number of employees of the industry in 2023 is estimated at about 1,767,766 workers, an increase of 2.72% compared to 2022. The digital technology industry has made strong strides. Revenue of the sector reaches 142 billion USD with the proportion of Vietnamese value accounting for 28.7%. About 1,500 digital technology enterprises have revenue from foreign markets (up nearly 4% compared to 2022). The Law on Electronic Transactions and the Law on Telecommunications were passed by the 15th National Assembly with a high approval rate. And now AI can do it instead, and do it much better," the Minister said.
