Communication is carried out in many forms such as: distributing leaflets, banners, slogans, billboards, internal loudspeakers, electronic boards at medical facilities, organizing direct consultations, integrating drug prevention and control content into professional activities, group activities on the harmful effects of new drugs, trends in the use of addictive substances, prevention skills, etc. to effectively communicate and post information on social networking platforms and health sector websites.

Methadone treatment for drug addiction continues to be maintained effectively at the treatment facility at the Provincial Center for Disease Control (from January 1 to May 31, there were 62 addicts taking methadone). Currently, the health sector has also strengthened supervision, support, and timely drug distribution, ensuring that the treatment process of addicts is not interrupted. In addition, the medical team closely coordinates with the police force and organizations in early detection, intervention, and support for addicts.

11 district, town and city health centers actively responded to integrated propaganda through various forms at medical facilities and in the community. Innovate communication methods and health education for people, focusing on the content of HIV infection prevention and diseases transmitted through drug injection, measures to reduce the harmful effects of drugs on public health, the effects and effectiveness of treating opioid addiction with methadone replacement drugs, especially focusing on drug addicts and their families, people with high-risk behaviors for HIV infection, and people in key areas. Strengthen inspection and supervision to improve the quality of opioid addiction treatment at methadone dispensing facilities; organize outreach, counseling, and mobilize addicts to participate in treatment; manage methadone well, avoid loss and damage, ensure continuous supply; improve the quality of treatment, ensure safety and effectiveness.
