Family Day connects ethnic communities

From June 1 to 30, at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism (Dong Mo, Son Tay, Hanoi), a series of activities took place with the theme Family Festival in response to Vietnamese Family Day on June 28 with the message "Happy family, prosperous nation".

The highlight of the program is the reenactment of community festivals, folk song and dance performances, costumes, traditional cuisine and the introduction of the cultural space of the M'nong ethnic group (Binh Phuoc). Visitors will experience folk games, learn about culture through costumes, musical instruments and traditional crafts of ethnic minorities.

Groups of people who regularly live in the village join in the program Celebrating Family Day through songs, games, cultural activities, introducing the beauty of family life, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity and attachment in the "Common House".

The Solidarity Sports Festival to celebrate Vietnamese Family Day on June 28 will bring together representatives of ethnic groups from three regions to exchange and compete in traditional sports, contributing to improving health, fostering collective spirit and building a sustainable great solidarity bloc.
