The plan to launch a 90-day peak period to clean up marriage data and implement the reduction of procedures for confirming marital status starts from May 31 to August 31. The plan has identified key groups of tasks, including: Standardizing and synchronizing marriage, divorce data, and confirming marital status from electronic civil status databases, the Court with the National Population Database under the Ministry of Public Security ; Digitizing and cleaning divorce information data according to court judgments and decisions to update the National Population Database, and simultaneously display on VNeID; Piloting the use of marital status information on VNeID to serve the settlement of administrative procedures and transactions according to the provisions of law; Reducing the number of documents, simplifying administrative procedures related to confirming marital status, moving towards abolishing the traditional procedure of issuing marital status certificates...
Delegates from ministries, sectors and localities discussed and proposed coordination solutions, clarified the tasks of all levels and sectors to effectively implement the peak period of cleaning up marriage data and implementing the reduction of procedures for confirming marital status.
Concluding the conference, Deputy Minister of Public Security Nguyen Van Long requested relevant units under the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Justice, and the Supreme People's Court to immediately deploy technical and professional measures to synchronize and update all marital status data nationwide, with priority given to completion in pilot localities in a number of localities.
At the same time, pilot the use of digitized marital status information on VNeID to replace marital status confirmation papers in administrative procedure settlement at localities. Along with that, continue to promote the application of information technology in administrative procedure settlement towards building a digital government, high-level online public services, creating maximum convenience for citizens and businesses.
