National Day for National Security Protection in Quang Uyen Commune

On July 31, Quang Uyen commune, Cao Bang province solemnly held the National Day for National Security Protection in 2025. This is one of 21 localities nationwide selected by the Ministry of Public Security to organize the "point" provincial Day, aiming to spread the movement of the entire people participating in maintaining security and order right from the grassroots level. Attending were Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Ngoc Lam - Member of the Standing Committee of the Central Public Security Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security and a working delegation of the Ministry of Public Security.

Attending the festival on the side of Cao Bang province were Colonel Nguyen Quang Vinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Director of the Provincial Police; Comrade Ha Nhat Le - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Comrade Hoang Van Thach - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee. At the program, delegates watched the reportage "20 years of the National Day for National Security Protection - Uniting people's hearts, maintaining peace" , recreating outstanding results in ensuring security and order (ANTT) and building the movement for National Security Protection in the province in general and Quang Uyen commune in particular.

Over the past years, the provincial Party Committee, government and mass organizations have paid attention to leading and directing the building of the movement of All People Protecting National Security (ANTQ) in a comprehensive, extensive and effective manner, suitable to the characteristics of each locality. Currently, the whole province is maintaining 41 types of models with more than 1,300 groups and points of active operation, promoting the core role of the masses in ensuring security and order. Typical models include: "Lighting up the countryside roads", "Self-managed rivers and streams", "Drug-free residential areas", "Security cameras", "Security clusters in border areas".

In Quang Uyen commune, the movement of the People to protect national security has developed strongly, attracting the active participation of the people. Currently, the commune effectively maintains typical models such as: Safe residential areas in terms of security and order; Security and order lighting; Inter-family groups for fire prevention and fighting; Security cameras, building families with 5 no's and 3 cleans. For Quang Uyen commune - a new administrative unit established on the basis of merging 3 communes and 1 town, although still facing many difficulties in terms of terrain, population and socio-economic conditions, there have been many efforts in building and developing the movement of the People to protect national security. The movement is closely linked with the tasks of economic and social development, contributing to maintaining political stability, ensuring national security and order in the area, preventing the formation of complicated "hot spots".

Speaking at the Festival, Deputy Minister Nguyen Ngoc Lam acknowledged and commended the achievements and results of the Party Committee and the people of all ethnic groups in Cao Bang province in general and Quang Uyen commune in particular in ensuring security and order and building a movement for the entire people to protect national security. He requested the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Committee and Quang Uyen commune to continue to pay attention to leading, directing, thoroughly implementing, and seriously and effectively implementing the directives of the Party and State and the instructions of the Ministry of Public Security on ensuring security and order and building a movement for the entire people to protect national security. Pay attention to socio-economic development; take the prosperity and happiness of the people as the goal to strive for; ensure that all people enjoy the fruits of innovation and development, and no one is left behind. Each cadre, party member and citizen of Quang Uyen commune promotes the spirit of responsibility, actively participates in the movement to protect national security with specific and practical actions; supports and assists the People's Public Security force in the fight against crime, building secure, safe, orderly and disciplined hamlets and residential areas; each citizen is a soldier on the national security protection front.

For the provincial police, including the Quang Uyen commune police, the Deputy Minister of Public Security requested to continue to make efforts and strive to excellently complete the task of ensuring security and order , playing a core role in effectively implementing the movement of All people protecting national security. Strongly innovate thinking and methods of operation to suit the period when the country is changing, closely following the characteristics of the local situation and the two-level local government organization model. Promote foreign affairs, strengthen cooperation with functional forces of Chinese border provinces in preventing and combating illegal entry and exit and fighting cross-border crimes.

People are given free medicine in Quang Uyen commune.

On this occasion, the Department of Health and the Military-Civilian Medical Board of Cao Bang province coordinated with Quang Uyen General Hospital to organize medical examination and treatment, and provide medicine for over 370 people who are policy beneficiaries, the elderly and local people . Through the activity, it aims to promote the effective implementation of Decision No. 545/QD-TTg dated April 29, 2022 of the Prime Minister approving the Program of combining military and civilian medicine to take care of people's health until 2030. At the same time , continue to effectively carry out the work of combining military and civilian medicine in caring for and protecting people's health, especially policy beneficiaries in border areas and areas with many difficulties; promote the combined strength of military and civilian medicine in peacetime, be prepared and effectively respond to all situations; promptly carry out disease prevention and control, medical examination and treatment, and management of non-communicable diseases in the area.
