On May 17, in Hanoi, the Party Central Committee worked in a discussion group on the Outline of the Report summarizing the work of Party building and the implementation of the Party Charter to be submitted to the 14th National Party Congress; giving opinions on the Project to summarize Directive No. 35-CT/TW, dated May 30, 2019 of the Politburo and the draft Directive of the Politburo on Party congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Party Congress.

At 4:00 p.m., the Politburo met to review, absorb, and explain the Central Committee's discussion opinions on the outlines of the reports.
