Tomorrow (May 13), the National Assembly Standing Committee will give opinions on the socio-economic situation and budget.

The 33rd session of the National Assembly Standing Committee (NASC) opens tomorrow (May 13) and closes in the late afternoon of May 15.

On the first working day of the session, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly will give opinions on the supplementary assessment report on the results of the implementation of socio -economic development tasks and the state budget in 2023; the implementation of the socio-economic development plan and the state budget in the first months of 2024.

The allocation of the medium-term public investment plan using state budget capital for the 2021-2025 period and the 2024 capital plan for tasks and projects using the increased central budget revenue in 2022 has completed investment procedures, also on the agenda.

On the same afternoon, the National Assembly's standing body gave opinions on the national marine spatial planning for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050.

In the legislative work, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly will consider and discuss the draft Law on Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue; the draft Resolution amending and supplementing Resolution No. 119/2020/QH14 of the National Assembly on piloting the organization of an urban government model and a number of specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Da Nang City; the draft Resolution of the National Assembly on piloting the addition of a number of specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Nghe An province; the draft Resolution of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly on the highest military rank for a number of positions and titles of officers who are generals under the Ministry of National Defense according to the Law on Officers of the Vietnam People's Army.

The Standing Committee of the National Assembly will also comment on a number of other important issues in preparation for the 7th session of the 15th National Assembly.
