Nghe An: Electrician volunteers to "revive" equipment to help people...

In Tuong Duong commune ( Nghe An ), right after the flood receded, hundreds of households clumsily carried rice cookers, fans, refrigerators, washing machines, and freezers... that had been submerged in water for many days to gather at the commune's Cultural Center. This place has become a special "field repair shop", warm with the love of people in the flood area.

In the still damp area, about a dozen men were diligently screwing, measuring, and connecting wires. They were electricians and refrigeration technicians from the Tuong Duong Refrigeration Volunteer Association, with the heart of “helping people without taking any pay”. For many days, the group had been working continuously from morning to late afternoon, supporting the free repair of hundreds of damaged electrical devices.

Mr. Tran Van Tuan, Chairman of the Tuong Duong Refrigeration Charity Association, shared: “From morning until now, we have handed over more than 100 devices to the people. In cases of serious damage requiring replacement parts, we will notify people to proactively buy them, and in cases of minor damage, we will repair them completely free of charge.”

Electric rice cookers, fans and other electronic devices are all repaired by volunteer groups to help people in flooded areas.

Without advertising or fanfare, the volunteer group quietly contributes to "reviving" essential items, helping people quickly stabilize their lives after the natural disaster. "Seeing people happy and equipment working again makes us happy," a group member said simply.

The beautiful story in the flood area of Tuong Duong not only spreads a good image of the spirit of "the rich help the poor", but also gives more faith and determination to the people of Nghe An to overcome loss and rebuild their homes after the flood.
