Nghe An's budget revenue in the first 7 months of 2025 reached 15,553 billion VND, equal to 87.7% of the estimate.

On the afternoon of August 5, the People's Committee of Nghe An province held a regular meeting for July 2025 to assess the socio-economic development situation in the first 7 months of the year and deploy key tasks for August.

Comrade Le Hong Vinh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired and conducted the meeting. Co-chairing were Comrade Bui Thanh An - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; members of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee: Bui Dinh Long, Nguyen Van De, Hoang Phu Hien.

The meeting took place in the context that the province is entering the second month of operating a two-level local government; at the same time, it must focus on overcoming the severe consequences caused by storm and storm circulation No. 3 in the mountainous areas in the West.

At the meeting, the Provincial People's Committee discussed and gave opinions on many important contents, notably the results of State budget collection.

Accumulated in 7 months, total budget revenue in the area is estimated at 15,553 billion VND, equal to 87.7% of the annual estimate and up 12.8% over the same period in 2024. Of which, domestic revenue is estimated at 14,430 billion VND (reaching 90.1% of the estimate); revenue from import-export activities is 1,028 billion VND (reaching 63.1% of the estimate).

In 2025, Nghe An aims to collect VND26,000 billion in budget revenue, far exceeding the plan assigned by the Central Government (VND17,726 billion). Of which, domestic revenue (excluding land use fees and lottery) is expected to reach VND13,955 billion; revenue from land use fees VND10,270 billion; revenue from import-export activities VND1,650 billion.

To successfully achieve the above goal, the Provincial People's Committee requires continuing to resolutely direct the budget collection work, ensuring the correct, sufficient and timely collection of taxes, fees, charges and other revenues to the State budget.

The provincial Finance sector is synchronously implementing many solutions, focusing on tax administrative reform, expanding the collection base, preventing revenue loss and creating convenience for taxpayers.
