The Vietnamese team started training on the afternoon of June 8 to prepare for the match against Malaysia in the 2027 Asian Cup qualifiers. Similar to the previous two training sessions, coach Kim Sang-sik had the whole team warm up with exercises to practice ball feel, pass and shoot, and divide the team into opposing teams.

The advantage for the Vietnamese team is that the players are integrating well with the playing style. The Vietnamese team entered the second training session at UM Arena, which has good facilities and a flat grass surface, very different from the field where coach Kim Sang-sik and his team practiced the first session.

"Since the training session, the whole team has always been ready. The team's mentality is very comfortable, and professionalism is clearly demonstrated through each training session. Playing at Bukit Jalil Stadium, there will definitely be pressure, but it is only a small pressure. If we can stay focused, the cheers of the audience will not affect the team's fighting spirit much," Chau Ngoc Quang concluded.
