Being a photography enthusiast, Mr. Quoc Bao (46 years old, Nha Trang) recently explored the ancient village of Ha Lien. He affirmed that he was extremely impressed with the scenery, atmosphere, and the rhythm of life there. The only access road to the old Ha Lien village, now the Ha Lien residential area, is a single concrete road; residents and tourists must travel by boat or canoe if they choose other routes. According to Mr. Bao's observations, the villagers mainly engage in aquaculture and fishing, with crab being a famous specialty. Ha Lien village also cultivates many types of shrimp, crabs, and brackish water fish for export. Despite facing many difficulties, the lives of the villagers are generally not too hard. One of the special things about Ha Lien is that people still maintain the familiar, simple lifestyles of a rustic village. "There's usually a small market in the middle of the village, selling vegetables, food, and breakfast items in the morning. There's also a market in the afternoon, but with fewer stalls," Bao shared.
