The 2026 Military-Civilian Tet (Lunar New Year) celebration will be held in Cai Rang and Hung Phu wards, and Truong Long, Phung Hiep, and Hoa Tu communes. 2026 marks the 20th year that the Can Tho City Military Command has coordinated the organization of the Military-Civilian Tet in these localities. Over the past 19 years, the event has cost over 544 billion VND, with the City Military Command contributing over 150 billion VND through social mobilization.
