VinFast Cuu Long Can Tho partners with CASTID 2025.

In conjunction with CASTID 2025, VinFast Cuu Long Can Tho will showcase and introduce two strategic electric SUV models, the VinFast VF6 (segment B) and the VF8 (segment D), at Can Tho University from December 16th to 20th, 2025.

The VinFast VF6 model was displayed at CASTID 2025.

The VinFast VF6 is in the B-SUV segment, targeting urban, young customers or small families. The VF6 measures 4,238 x 1,820 x 1,594 mm, with a wheelbase of 2,730 mm, offering a spacious interior comparable to C-segment models. It features a 12.9-inch touchscreen display. The car provides a smooth, stable, and premium driving experience. It comes in two versions: Eco and Plus. With a 59.6 kWh battery, the VF6 offers a driving range of 380-400 km on a single full charge according to NEDC standards (depending on the version).

The VinFast VF8 model was displayed at CASTID 2025.

The VinFast VF8 is a premium D-segment (5-seater) SUV. It boasts impressive acceleration and optimal traction, making it suitable for long journeys and diverse terrains. The vehicle features a large 15.6-inch central infotainment screen with integrated "Hey VinFast" smart virtual assistant. Interior space is enhanced by a panoramic sunroof. The car has a large battery capacity of up to 87.7kWh (depending on the version), allowing the VF8 to achieve a range of 460-510km. In terms of safety features, it is equipped with 11 airbags, a 360-degree camera, and an ADAS system.

In December, VinFast offered numerous promotions for customers purchasing vehicles, including a 4% discount under the "Strong Vietnamese Spirit" program, a 3% discount for military and police officers, and a fuel-for-electricity trade-in program offering discounts of up to 70 million VND for the VF8 and 15 million VND for the VF6. Additionally, in December, customers owning the VF8 Eco 4WD received vouchers or the option to redeem up to 100 million VND, while those owning the VF6 Eco received 2 years of insurance or the option to redeem up to 15 million VND.

VinFast Cuu Long Can Tho presented meaningful souvenirs to visitors at the exhibition.

According to representatives from Vinfast Cuu Long Can Tho, the presence of VF6 and VF8 at CASTID 2025 aims to convey the message of always accompanying the city on its journey to transition to green, environmentally friendly transportation, adapting to climate change; and making a positive contribution to the digital transformation and green transformation process. Traveling by electric vehicle will directly contribute to reducing emissions and air pollution in urban areas, in line with the sustainable development goals of the city and the Mekong Delta region.

With advanced smart features (ADAS, virtual assistant, large screen, internet connectivity), electric vehicles contribute to the formation of a smart transportation ecosystem, helping Can Tho move closer to its goal of building a smart city and becoming a driving force for science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation for the region and the nation.
