Polluted water sources cause many freshwater fish to die and drift to the shore.
Mr. Nguyen Hung (55 years old, residing in Thanh Khe District, Da Nang City) shared: "This year the amount of waste is not as much as last year's flood. However, the waste is spread along the coast with a very large volume, it will take many days to clean up."
Many glass objects also appeared along the coast, posing a danger to people traveling in this area.
The heavy rains from October 13 to 15 caused severe flooding in many areas of the city. Due to the large amount of floodwater, many household items, dry trees, duckweeds, etc. were swept away and flowed into Da Nang Bay. In the coming time, the authorities will clean up the garbage so that the beach along Nguyen Tat Thanh Street can soon regain its original beauty, serving the city's tourism activities.
