People and tourists find public toilets on the app

This is an activity in the public toilet socialization program "Comfort as home" in Hai Chau district.

The project to socialize public toilets called "Comfort as home" is a model to encourage businesses to open toilets to serve people and tourists for free with an open and friendly spirit.

Application to help find the nearest toilet

Residents and tourists can download the ComfortAsHome application on their mobile devices to look up and find the nearest restrooms of businesses that respond to the "Comfort as home" model.

According to the People's Committee of Hai Chau District, after nearly 1 month of implementation, the program has received the support of many agencies, units, enterprises, business establishments, services... in the district.

Up to now, more than 1,000 union members, youths, and volunteers have directly carried out propaganda and mobilization at agencies, units, enterprises, business establishments, and service establishments... in the district. At the same time, the "Open Letter on Participation in the Project of Socializing Community Toilets" was sent to 562 business and service establishments on 65 streets.

There are currently 288 facilities participating in the program.

In addition, Hai Chau District People's Committee also installed public restroom signs combined with free classified advertising points at APEC Parks, Hai Chau District's OCCOP product display point at 112 Bach Dang and the city's administrative center parking lot to serve residents and tourists .

Hai Chau District is also investing in new, replacing old public toilets.
